In June of 2024, I was completely shocked to be diagnosed with breast cancer. I didn’t fit any of the traditional criteria for breast cancer—I was healthy, active, and had no family history. Fortunately, it was caught at Stage 1 as invasive ductal carcinoma, but the fact that I had cancer made me rethink many everyday choices. I started to take a closer look at everything I put in and on my body, from the food I ate to the beauty and personal care products I used.
